This week, the inner chef in me became so active. I don't know if this is related to my pregnancy hormones changing every now and then :)) So last sunday, I wanted to do some baked macaroni and cheese. And so i tried.. my first time! :)
What you need:
- 200mg Elbow Macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 2 Tbsp. All purpose flour
- 1 Can Evaporated Milk
- 2 Cups Grated Quickmelt Cheese
- 1/2 Tsp. salt
- 1/2 Tsp. ground pepper
What to do?
- Prepare pasta according to instructions. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in flour until smooth, stir constantly.
- Gradually whisk in milk about 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove from heat. Stir in salt and pepper.
- Add 1 cup grated cheese, and cooked pasta.
- Spoon pasta mixture into a lightly greased baking dish. Top with remaining 1 cup of cheese.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand in 10 minutes before serving.
